“If you keep putting up these overly happy status updates then I’ll be forced to block them”
“If you come back home as an optimist we’re not going to get along. The world is a terrible awful place with nothing...

I’m a teacher now. I personally teach about 750 different students aged 13 to 17. It’s interesting. I will...

We have harmony in my heart
On Wednesday night I met a guy that worked for the UN in Afganistan between June 2001 and July 2004, and thus I am now three steps of seperation away from Bin Laden. If only i’d met this UN guy a week ago maybe me and Osama could’ve had a chat and sorted this whole mess out.
I’m in the south preparing for this teaching job, everythings still a bit up in the air so I’ll...

Greg in 'writes blog' SHOCKER
It’s early Monday afternoon and I’m back in Chiang Mai, staying once again at my favourite hotel in Thailand, Julie Guesthouse. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what I like so much about this place; perhaps the (generally) good and cheap food, the way the restaurant/bar always seems to turn into a party daily, the self serve bar with honesty book… it’s got a lot of good...

Nature Strikes Again
The BBC News homepage is so full of disasters and conflict of late that Thailands own crisis only warented the bottom story on the Asia Pacific page. 100,000 people affected, 20+ confirmed dead, thousands stranded on islands; in 2011 it seems this just isn’t a big enough story. Of course I’m not in the UK and it could have made the televisual news but after us being aware of...
